Hip Flask Product Care

We are happy to offer advice on caring for your new hip flask

Your new hip flask is specially designed to carry alcoholic drinks.
It should not be used for beverages with acid content such as fruit juices or cordials.
Please do not fill your new hip flask with carbonated drinks as this may also damage the flask, this includes soda water.
Do not fill your metal flask with hot liquid, these containers are not made to hold hot liquid, you’ll damage the flask and most likely yourself.

Your new flask will provide years of pleasure if you follow a few simple rules.

clean-your-flask

1. Thoroughly wash the inside of the flask with clean water before filling for the first time.
We recommend a small drop of liquid dish detergent and a good shake with the lid screwed on.
Rinse with clean water until the soap has disappeared.
There may be small metal fragments from the production process so please rinse well.

 2. Always empty the flask after use and rinse it out before refilling.

 3. Do not keep alcohol in your new flask for more than a few days.
Although the flask should be fine we would always recommend emptying your flask after use.

 4. Note for pewter flask owners.
Pewter has a low melting point and so should not be used in conjunction with any type of stove or heat source, otherwise serious damage will occur.

DO NOT WASH YOUR FLASK IN THE DISHWASHER
